One of the assignments for my illustration class was to create short comic, as if it was a page from a graphic novel. Creating comics have always been an interest of mine, so this project was a great way to apply my creativity.
Here we have a comic featuring my alien character, Gizzard, and his pet dragon Signi. Signi brings Gizzard an orb that shows him a hologram of earth. This comic is based off of stories I have read were humans would send music and pictures of Earth into space, in the hopes of intelligent life coming across it.
This comic was featured at my community college’s spring art show, The Hichk’s Art Center’s 56th Annual Student Showcase.
